Space fact
A teaspoon of neutron star would weigh about a billion tonnes on Earth.
The details
Neutron stars are the collapsed cores of massive stars, packing more mass than the Sun into a ball roughly 20 kilometres across. Their matter is so dense that a sugar-cube-sized piece would weigh as much as a mountain.
